Jan is an experienced risk professional having spent over 20 years working in the Commodity Industry and Risk Management. In his current role he is focused on providing bespoke insurance risk solutions for their Commodities business and wider Group. He has extensive experience in managing and optimizing complex global programs across multiple lines of business. This includes the initial placement and negotiations, centralized management of a Global Insurance portfolio and handling complex claims. He is actively involved in all aspects of a Bermuda based Captive, including claims and underwriting.

Jan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Stellenbosch, International Diploma in Enterprise Risk Management and is an ACCA affiliate.
