Dan has over 15 years of experience within the Bermuda insurance market, beginning his insurance career with Allied World as an actuarial intern in their international property and casualty pricing department. He joined Liberty Specialty Markets Bermuda Ltd. as a Catastrophe Risk Modeler before transitioning to the underwriting team at Liberty Specialty Markets Agency Ltd. in August of 2012. Dan was most recently the Head of Financial Lines for LSMA and was instrumental in the development of the Agency’s cyber, D&O, E&O, and FI underwriting strategies. He assumed the role of Chief Underwriting Officer in June of 2023. He holds a degree in Business Administration with distinction from Mount Saint Vincent University, along with the RPLU, CPCU, ARM, and ARe designations.
