Relevant Experience/Specialization

Kirk previously spent 5 years at Ernst & Young where he reached the role of Audit Senior. He was with EY in Barbados for three years before moving to EY Bermuda where he spent most of his time on a large SEC client as well as performing the audits for several captive insurance companies both in the role as Senior and as Acting Manager.  

Role at Willis Towers Watson

Kirk joined Willis Towers Watson Management (Bermuda) Limited in 2017 as an Account Executive responsible for the day to day management of client relationships as well as oversight of accounting and financial reporting for insurance and reinsurance clients. In addition to providing assistance and advice on accounting and reporting matters, Kirk manages client meetings and oversees regulatory compliance and reporting matters. Kirk also reviews reports and accounts prepared by junior staff members prior to issuance. Kirk has experience with both Life and General insurance companies working on a range of entites ranging from small captives to large commercial entites.

Education and Credentials

Kirk holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of the West Indies received in 2014, and Bachelor of Science in Economics and Mathematics from the University of the West Indies received in 2007. He is a member of the Institued of Chartered Accountants of Barbados.  He is a Certified Management Accountant – Canada and, Chartered Professional Accountant – Bermuda. Kirk completed the Associate in Risk Management and Associate in Reinsurance from the Insurance Institutes.
