Shellé Thompson joined Allied World in 2023 as Product Lead, Bermuda Healthcare Division. Shellé has over 19 years of healthcare, life-sciences and excess casualty underwriting experience. Her insurance career first started at Allied World in 2005, followed by underwriting roles at AIG and AXA XL. She studied at Bryant University in Rhode Island where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a finance concentration. She is an active community member, she served on the Bermuda Health Council Board and Bermuda Health Council Regulatory Committee.  Shellé is currently on the board of the Bermuda Foundation for Insurance Studies (BFIS) and chairs the BFIS Scholarship Committee.
