Session: Bermuda Captives – Setting the Standard in Jurisdictional Excellence

Matt is the VP of Finance & Legal at Sensible Weather, the leading weather protection provider for travel and outdoor experiences.  Matt has developed a wide range of financial and legal expertise over the course of his career as an operator and advisor.  Having started his career as a CPA at Deloitte, Matt later advised clients on various corporate transactions as an attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and then as an investment banker at Lazard.

At Sensible Weather, Matt manages the company's risk capacity program, which is primarily facilitated through Sensible Weather Insurance Captive Ltd, a Class 2 captive insurance company based in Bermuda.  Matt works closely with the Davies Captive Management team and other experts in Bermuda to distribute risk across global markets through Bermuda's world-leading captive insurance regime.
