Hanno Tolhurst is a Partner in the Corporate department at ASW Law Limited in Bermuda. Hanno is admitted as a lawyer in Bermuda and England & Wales, and has experience of transactions across multiple industry sectors and jurisdictions. Hanno has advised on many of the largest M&A transactions in the Bermuda market in recent years. His practice also has a particular focus on (re)insurance and regulatory matters, including the establishment of captive and commercial classes of insurer. Prior to joining ASW in 2015, Hanno was a Senior Associate in the London, UK, corporate team of leading international law firm, CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP, where he also trained as a solicitor. Hanno is ranked by Chambers & Partners Global for Insurance in Bermuda and is also recognised by Legal 500 for Insurance/Reinsurance, Corporate & Commercial and Regulatory & Compliance.
